  • Costa Rica for Two

Costa Rica is one of the smallest countries in Central America, and it is also a real paradise for eco-tourism enthusiasts. Many natural complexes are concentrated on its territory. And not for nothing, it is considered that this is the most beautiful place on Earth, because here are collected numerous national parks, underwater and ground caves, architectural monuments, beautiful mountains. You can get to the sea shore from anywhere in two-three hours maximum.

The culture of this amazingly attractive country is filled with festivals. Indeed, grandiose events usually take place in Guanacaste and Nikoya, where you can watch rodeos, bright fireworks, etc. Costa Ricans celebrate the days of their saints, organizing processions through the streets, dances, parades. Not surprisingly, in the Catholic state, many holidays are of a religious nature. So, during the Easter week, most institutions stop their work.

When is it better to go to Costa Rica

Planning a vacation is recommended for the period from December to July. But you need to consider that at this time there is an influx of guests – hotels must be booked in advance and be ready for pandemoniums on the roads.

My close friend has recently visited Costa Rica and here’s what she had to say about it:

Costa Rica is a paradise on Earth!

I dreamed of going to Costa Rica for a long time. And this opportunity finally appeared to me. To say that I was glad about this is not to say anything! In general, about everything in order ….

As often happens, all international voyages arrive only to the capital. Costa Rica was no exception. We flew to the capital of the country – San Jose. The road was long enough, but not at all difficult.

And the next day we went to the Pacific coast. And the first stop was the Marino Bayena National Park. Majestic mountains, covered with evergreen forests, valleys and mountain rivers, piercing their emerald greenery, rice fields, plantations of bananas, pineapples, coconut palms, valuable species of trees and bushes.

… 12 days flew by like one.

Costa Ricans always and everywhere say pura vida, which means – pure life, life at its best, life is beautiful. These 12 days were truly pura vida. Goodbye, distant, but such a beautiful country! Goodbye! Will I come back here again? Undoubtedly! Yes! And, I hope, more than once! After all, you gave me a real fairy tale, a real pura vida. See you next time, because you have something to show us. PURA VIDA!
